A little about me

The person behind
the projects.

I’m Prathmesh, a software engineer with 5 years of experience, based in India. I started as a trainee full-stack developer and most recently worked as a Technical Project Manager. Along the way, my work grew from building web and mobile products to AI/ML, automation, and helping people and teams deliver them.

Getting into the details

First, make it work.

I started my career as a trainee full-stack developer, learning by building: the screens people use, the systems behind them, and the connections that make it all work together. That hands-on foundation still shapes how I approach a project.

That work has taken me across very different products—from a shared workspace for theater teams to travel planning and online stores. Each starts with a different problem to understand.

Connecting the pieces

Then, make it easier.

A useful product also needs to fit into someone’s day. That might mean connecting the tools a business already uses, organizing information, or automating a task that keeps coming back.

My approach to AI/ML and automation follows that same idea: make intelligence useful. That can mean a chatbot that draws on a team’s knowledge, an AI assistant inside a product, a model fine-tuned for a particular task, or a workflow that takes repetitive work off someone’s plate.

Capabilities & tools

The right tools for the problem.

My toolkit spans full-stack and mobile development, AI/ML, automation, databases and cloud delivery. I also help improve existing products through technical audits, performance optimisation and consultation.

Technical Lead & Project Manager

And bring people with you.

As my work grew, so did my responsibility for the people delivering it. I moved into technical project leadership and, most recently, technical project management. I have managed a team of 20–22 developers, helped hire new people, and supported the team through planning, technical decisions and delivery.

That work also brought me into close collaboration with sales and marketing: understanding what was being promised, helping shape a practical scope, and keeping delivery connected to the business. Discovery, estimates, architecture, code reviews and mentoring all became part of the same conversation. Agile delivery, sprint planning and backlog priorities help turn that conversation into progress.

Making space for what’s next

Build the capability, too.

I started an AI department within one of the companies I worked with. It brought a new area of work into the organization and added another perspective to my experience of building products and leading teams.

My interest in product management goes alongside that work. I earned a product-management course certificate through Udemy in March 2024, adding a product perspective to my engineering and delivery experience.

Where that leads

A builder. A partner. Part of the team.

I work with people who need a product brought to life, a clearer direction for an existing system, or someone who can help a team move forward.

I’m open to freelance projects and remote, hybrid or onsite roles in full-stack engineering, AI/ML, technical leadership and project management—work where I can contribute both hands-on engineering and delivery experience.
